General information
Directions
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take each dose with or without food to diminish stomach annoyance.
Precautions
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to or if you have recently had a heart attack, liver or kidney illness, Parkinson disease. This medication may be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Avoid drinking alcohol.
Contraindications
Don't use it if you have allergic reaction or taking definite antiarrhythmic medicines. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for additional information.
Possible side effect
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergy, giddy, jitteriness, or retching, changes in sexual ability, painful erection, fast heartbeat, body spasms, impatience, insomnia or asthenia, trouble urinating or dark urine, dry mouth, nausea, stuffy nose.
Drug interaction
Inform your doctor if you regularly use any of other medicines, or any other anti-psychotic medications, such as Thiazide diuretics, narcotic pain medicines, antiarrhythmic medicine, Anticholinergics (atropine, etc) or Anticoagulants (warfarin, etc), beta-blockers (propranolol, etc). Consult your doctor or pharmacist for additional information.
Missed dose
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. Skip the missed dose if it is time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Overdose
Overdose symptoms may include convulsions, paroxysm, impatience or muscle spasm. If you think you have overdosed the medicine seek emergency medical help at once.
Storage
Store your medicines at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from moisture and light. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
